Mobile Money Fraud
Partners: Airtel Africa, Caritas Malawi, IIITB, Royal Academy of Engineering
Country: Malawi
Rural Inclusion are leading a consortium funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering to test and examine a digital training approach to reducing mobile money fraud in Malawi. Through the project, Rural Inclusion developed short animated films to re-create common mobile money fraud scenarios in Chichewa and leverage the Ostrii platform for community delivery.
Integrated Pest Management for Coffee Farmers
Client: Agri Evolve
Country: Uganda
Rural Inclusion developed a series of edutainment videos in the local language of Lukonzo and provided access to Ostrii for Agri Evolveās field agents in the Rwenzori Mountains to raise awareness of common pests found in coffee gardens, and best management practices.

Financial Literacy for Refugees
Client: Opportunity International UK
Country: Uganda
Opportunity International UK and Opportunity Bank Uganda are using the Ostrii platform and training content developed in Kinyarwanda and Kiswahili on a project to train 10,000 refugees in Nakivale and Rwamwanja Refugee Settlements from 2023-2025.
